Sometimes I get the feeling somethings can be too good to be true

we'll have to wait and see, if its what it said in the web site, then i guess i got a good deal.

if not, i'll just get the card company to refuse payment:D

I got my 2007wfp off mscom via ebay, they were new and sealed mind you, they seem to have a lot of issues regarding dell sending too many or refusing to repair them etc.

The first one i got had bad banding, called dell, they sent out a new one next day...sorted ;)

well.....if i do get one with problems, aleast i still have the warranty to fall back on.

at the end of the day, if i can get a 2407 at £330 inc.del, im happy!

Just beware using the card company. It is a good guarantee to have but it can cost you if you need them to chase up money or block payments.

Just a couple of things to mention before people go jumping the gun. They are refurbished and the price's do not include VAT.

Not a good deal then... It's alright but not as good as I first thought

They are refurbished

they shouldn' t be really.

The site says "..All Stock Is Refurbished Unless Stated" but the item link says

"24" New Dell UltraSharp" which imo reads as brand new & not refurb.

nathan, i take it you work for the company thats selling these 2407 then??

how would you known they are refurb' items?

just want to know really.....since the invoice i have right in front of me now says 24'' New Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP Widescreen LCD (midnight Grey). 3 Year Warranty

and anyway....

the one of the left is the ''new'' one i got today, so far there is no problem, i've played a few short DVD movies, viewed some photos, have checked coloured and there is no dead pixel.

all the cables is in the box, i cant find any signs of 're-tape' on the box, and there is no marks on the monitor.

and yes, its not £280, its £280+vat, not £280 inc.vat, the title should says it all.

also....theres that 'new smell', the smell when you switch a brand new TV on for the first time:D :D

buy one, if you can risk it like me, if not, go eles where.

You can find out power uptime by...

Monitor off. Then hold down the 3rd, 5th and 6th buttons (from the left) for a second or two. (thats the "menu", "+" and "power" buttons).

Then when the monitor is on, hit the "-" button once. The hidden menu should appear.

lol, ok i was wrong, no need to get your pants in a little twist!!!

I just spotted the the main heading stating they were all refurbed unless.....

Didnt see the "new" bit on the product listing.

I'll go for they fell of the back of a lorry then :p

no-no, it really was a honest question, i didnt mean to have a go at you, i too am the kind of person who think twice at buying things with a weird price......so sorry for the mis-understanding.

i'll try to word posts more careful now....

and....mrapoc:

i could post up the uptimes, but it'll be of no use....well....to me anyway.

because the first 2407 i bought, from a reputable company, it had already got a huge amount of uptime when i first switched it on.

i dont look at uptimes, if the panel have nothing wrong, and i got a warranty, i dont really mind if the 'new' monitor has 1000hours uptime on the first time i switch it on.

anyway.....thats my input, and maybe someone would be as lucky as me who got a lovly monitor at a bargain price(at this current moment)!

PS, its a A04, and made in Czech, same as my first one.
