24" Gaming / Video Editing Monitor

I have recently finished my new build "Snow Storm, and would like to get some new monitors soon. I have been looking EVERYWHERE and can't seem to make my mind up. I'd prefer them to be very close to, or 24". ASUS is a good brand for me, but as long as they are fairly good, I'm open to anything. I plan on buying 3, and running NVIDIA surround. Screen quality is most important, then bezel thickness (the smaller the better), then other features like height adjustment, etc. I could care less about. My budget is around $600 (£370).
Monitor in Consideration: BenQ GW2450

If it's for gaming and video editing you need to decide whether you want IPS or 120hz.
I'd say IPS is better. I use it for gaming and find it absolutely fine - and it will give you far better colour reproduction in general use, and in video editing.

Iiyama, Dell and LG options are probably the best for that kind of size.
Although consider going for a 23 inch screen too, as there's very little in it for quite a lot of money

Thanks! The reason I picked the GW2450 is because of Linus Tech Tips short review of it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA9B613Tvyg&feature=plcp He was very impressed by the quality and the price. I have looked into IPS panels but they are very expensive, and tend to not have a very good refresh rate. The accuracy of the colors isn't a HUGE deal to me, although I still care (Obviously :p) Most anything will be better than what I have now, (a Dell 1907FP, and a Dell 1907FP - The two look COMPLETELY different.

Bahahaha... $1350... You guys are funny... Those previous Dell IPS panels that JamesRiley93 posted are looking better and better!!! :p. What about those Iiyamas you guys were talking about?

I would go for one of the Dells mentioned above. I have the U2410 and I absolutely love it. It's awesome for gaming and everything just looks generally fantastic. Deep blacks, the whitest whites and brilliant colour reproduction. The build quality is also pretty amazing, I would highly recommend them :)

Best out there imo. I have one of the old older models, and it's fantastic too.

Can't get over the cheaper US prices tho.

If the size isn't a SUPER HUGE PROBLEM, then I would say go for a Dell Ultrasharp 23". On amazon, you can get them for $200 each, so there is your budget. Personally, the extra inch on a monitor isn't worth another $100.

Well for me it was :)

It makes programming much easier with the increased height.

Does anybody possibly know why a Male DisplayPort to Male DisplayPort cable is so hard to find? Also, I'm probably going to order the monitor jamesriley93 mentioned first on amazon (2-day shipping with prime :p) I am just going to order one for now more than likely. I really want to see how I like it before I commit by buying all three. I might return it if I don't like it and try another...

I am ordering the Dell U2412M, jamesriley93+1... :p
Do you know anything about why there aren't any DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables anywhere?
Thanks, TheCMStormStryker

Hey guys! I received the monitor in the mail yesterday and it looks absolutely amazing! I need to re-do cable management today, but besides that, I highly recommend this monitor!

Is DisplayPort a good way to connect it? Every port on my GTX 670 FTW is full now. I have a 42" Panasonic Viera TV @ 1920x1080 on HDMI, 2 19" Dell Monitors @ 1280x1024 on DVI, and the Dell U2412M @ 1920x1200 on DisplayPort. I love the way DisplayPort connectors work... Its like HDMI with a locking mechanism... Truly a brilliant idea.
