2 x512mb radeon 2600pro or 768mb 8800

hello everyone,

i am planning to build a quad core pc and i couldnt make up my mind if i should i get 2 x512mb radeon 2600pro or a 768mb 8800gtx.

both costs the same around £350.any suggestions are welcome:worship: .thx

I would go for the 8800, crossfire is a rather unsupported platform.

Meaning you could get high performance in one game but rubbish in the next.

Skip the confusion and go for the good old 8800!

GTX by about 3 and a 1/2 miles. Maybe 4.

You can check benches if you want, but I'm pretty sure the 8800 will run rings around 2x 2600... maybe around 3 or 4 of them (aka the new dual 2600 cards).

Bet one of the only games with a reversing edge would Oblivion.
