10900k temps and core to core delta

Its sitting on there loose but I'm not fussed as I can seal it later when I can gran some high temp sealant
Speaking of, I just put a small dab of superglue to hold the IHS in place and used same stuff to cover contacts. Haven't heard anyone else do it, so I'm wondering if there are significant drawbacks.
The sealants people tend to use are somewhat thick and take time to cure, so why bother? I suppose removing the IHS now would be a bit risky, but I've never encountered issues with liquid metal's longevity.

You don't need to seal the CPU. The clamp on the socket is holding it as tight as it will ever need to be. For the contacts, you can use thermal paste, nail polish, proper electronic protection products, or super glue.

I know, and my purpose isn't sealing - but if I take the CPU out of its socket for any reason, it's a bit of a hassle if the heat spreader comes off. So I just want to attach it a bit more permanently.


Just haven't really seen super glue being mentioned. Similarly I often clean thermal paste with lighter fluid and not alcohol. :D
