Asus AM4 Crosshair Hero Question

Is there a problem with these boards? Rumors are starting to go around there is a V 2.2 been listed for sale on some German store fronts. For this to be the Asus flagship board, there are no reviews coming out for this board. There is also no stock anywhere. So much so, Amazon has never removed their launch place holder price. As if they have never shipped a single board from launch day. Most other places even though they are out of stock, they do change their place hold price once the first one shipped on release day.

I have a pre-order from Feb 23rd. Should I cancel and go for another brand?

I think when Lisa from AMD said there would be 81 boards for launch, she was talking about the number of physically available boards, and not brands lol.

No stock is down to limited chipsets - Asus actually have more boards about than most

Reviews wise - most people reviewed the CPU's on them - anyone else doesnt have them because there are hardly any atm.

Going for another brand you still may not get one, its just demand outweighing supply atm and sadly pretty much all of this falls down to AMD....

Thank you. I was getting worried. This is one of the most bassackward launches that I can ever remember. Usually everyone it's starved for chip supply.

As always, keep up the great work, and thank you for the awesome reviews.

One thing I will say is everything is evolving pretty fast atm.

Id assume that in a month a LOT of things in the bios etc will have made things a lot better. This counts for all brands and boards.

I was rechecking the x370 boards to see if any new stock was in at Newegg, and to my surprise, the Crosshair VI was finally in. I banged in my order right away.
