Ryzen 3000 / X570 memory

As far as my knowledge goes, I can't seem to find anything out of the ordinary. Maybe this specific kit is just on a sale at the moment?...

I'd hold out for better timings. From what I'm reading, X570 is now able to do nice tight CL14 level timings at 3600mhz. Unless you're *really* cash-strapped, I'd be looking for 3200CL14 at a minimum. Not sure how much the future will change this, but it also appears going over 3600mhz, and using an infinity fabric clock that ISN'T 1 to 1, you take a performance hit. Apparently having a 1:1 clock ratio at 3600 *appears* to be the sweet spot and offers the best memory performance.

Obviously that might change in the future as BIOSes mature, but after owning both Ryzen generations, tight timings are a must. They have a big impact on overall CPU performance.

There's not a lot out there as far as benchmarks go, but the ones I did find showed 3600 with 17-19-19-39 timings getting 3-5 more FPS (most of the games tested) at 1080P than 3200 with 14-14-14-34 timings. Not sure how that changes at 1440p which is what I game at.

At least with the delay on the board it gives more time for other benchmarks and user reviews to come out to shed more light on it.

Yeah waiting for info is never a bad idea. My logic is that if your ram is rated CL14 at 3200, it will probably do CL15@3600 without issue, maybe CL16 at worst. So you'd still be better off than CL19, you just might have to tinker with the timings yourself.
