Just out of curiosity why would the maximus 6 review put you off the sabertooth? All tom said was the extreme 6 was overhyped POS but he didnt say all z87 asus boards are shite :confused: maybe the z87 saber is shite but you would have to find a specific review on that to make the call, my advice find and read a review on the saber and if you dont like the sound of what you hear buy something else :D

the sabertooth is a part of the rog series, so if there pot of the line is shit then there cheaper mobo's are not looking good...

My money would go on the GD65, M Power or the Sniper M5.

I've not seen anything bad said about the Sabertooth though.

yeah i have done a bit of reading up and there in nothing bad said about but the reviewers i don't really trust that much to take there word on it, i was hoping tom would do a review on it but i don't think it's worth his time after the last asus review...

but do love the look of the sabertooth and i've always had one

Its part of the TUF series like i said just read some reviews;

(i hope its ok to post other sites reviews here)

From what i can deduce from my ten second scan they all say its a able board overpriced and only worth the extra money if you love sabertooth line of board i know it doesn't fit some people other will sell their kids for them (i have a z77 one but bought it because it met my needs and am not adverse to them although the older i seem to get i seem to like subtle Pc parts =/)

i really don't like the look of any gigabyte mobo, the msi mobo's don't look too bad but the asus sabertooth z87 just looks awesome.
