M Munster New member Jul 26, 2012 #1 Hi, I tried to overclock my 2500k with my new d3h board. When I rebooted, it just kept freezing in BIOS. I set the ratio to x44 abd the vCore to around 1.35v, and everything else to AUTO. BIOS is around F6, not updated yet. Any ideas.

MadMarc Member Jul 26, 2012 #3 I've got my 2500k to 4.5GHz only by changing the multiplier, but not all chips overclock equally well. Just set the multiplier to a lower setting until you get it stable.

M Munster New member Jul 26, 2012 #4 Well I just checked out my CPU temps with Real Temp and IBT. On Normal and V.High tests, temp was around 40-42c idol, and 58-60c stressed. I don't know if thats a little high on stock core.

Okies, do I need to do anything with, my understanding is that they relate to keeping the voltage stable under load. - vCore Voltage Respone (Fast - Slow / Auto) - vCore LLC (Extreme - Standard / Auto) - CPU VTT LLC (Extreme - Standard / Auto) Thx.

M Munster New member Jul 26, 2012 #10 Interesting. I updated the BIOS to F9, and the freezes/lockups have gone (as of yet).
