z68 for an overclock 2700k

im running a rog maximus z68 gene atm got to say i love the bord.

but...

i have found sli/cross fire that the cards are way to close togeather and top over heats like crazy.

i was running crossfire xfi hd5770s

and now sli gtx 560 ti 448 from gainward

just wanted to know what was the best z68 out there.

i was looking at the rog extream. but then i saw the evga ftw z68.

with only a few things difrent then the rog for over 100 cheeper.

im looking for a black and red bord if poss but not to importent.

please tinytom can you do a vid review of the new evga z68 range iv not seen any out there yet just a few unboxings

also wanted to know with these bords been 3sli

wether i could used say slot 1 and 3 and give my self a nice gap between cards.

all wraped in my new nzxt phatom white and red case witch is very easy to work on compaired to my old inwin dragon slayer matx case

logitec g19 and a mx518 love this combo works very well the old mx 518 is fantastic and the new verson is just as good as i have one for my laptop

not if he wants full 16x bandwith for SLI, on the ud7 you get 2 x 16x bandwith PCIe lanes but on the asus board, sli will run 8x 8x.

well im only ever going use 2 way sli but i want to know if i can use space 1-3 and not 1 and 2 to give me extra space for cooling it is part of the reason i was going for an e atx bord. as most of the stuff on these 2 bords are the same as what in running on my gene
