Still engaged mate, wedding set for next year in September and I'm good cheers

The new missus keeping you 'up'?

Good work :) Sept 09... 09/09, do it on the 9th and it will be 09/09/09 oooooooh... /gayness

Who said I had a new misses? That's right. I'm a slut. What, what, I'm a slut! Seriously, I've been having/given the run around with women lately so I'm just enjoying myself. There is an ex making a strong come-back (insert Jim innuendo) but I'm relocating to Reading so, who knows! (I'd be in so much trouble if this was read by... Any of them).

I admire those of you who are confident enough in your relationships to settle down, and if you cut through the joker facade I have matured but right now I'm in a time in my life where I have numerous choices, and as harsh as this sounds, getting attached would limit my choices. There is so much I want to see and do, being single just makes it easier.

My actual plan, hush-hush plan, is get more BA/PM experience and relevant qualifications ASAP 1-2 years tops and get my a$$ to the UAE for some tax free earnings. Some friends of mine work there £30-60K UN-TAXED! Even if I take a pay cut because of the tax benefits I'd earn more! Crazy. Cars are cheap there, so is fuel... After that, who knows!

Enough of my shizz  more about what's crackin' with our members :worship:

Whats the craic with the guitar/band? Still rockin it? Your band on youtube?
Still rockin it! Go see the independance day thread in OT. I got some pics of my party where im playing guitar and drums. Somebody got a recording of me playing Star Spangled Banner drunk that night that im trying to get. I believe it will be quite interesting lol. And sadly NO band ARGG. Im trying so hard to get a GOOD band together. But im not giving up and no more sad panda anymore either.

There is so much I want to see and do, being single just makes it easier.
Here here!! Im starting to learn that actualy myself. Stay unattatched and you have nothing to worry about and no way to get hurt :)

Keep trying with the band if it makes you happy :) I love Jimi, his Blues album gives me b0ners :D

Re. the single thing, just don't shut out your emotions, you still need them to know when you have got the one but then don't let women cloud your judgment either. Once I passed up traveling around the world to stay with a girl, it didn't work out... Point and case (does that even make sense? lol)

Not long finished college, looking for work, it's cold, it's raining and the sheep are still multiplying. Got a new missus like yourself but she's one dumb question away from being dropped like a greased up thermaltake product.

Oh and the family is in the process of moving house which is taking up all of my time at the moment.

Tax free work in the UAE sounds sick, hook me up ;)

Finding work in Wales can be tricky I heard, few of my uni mates come from Newtown, mid Wales and they got their degrees but found it tricky...

Damn that TT comment cracked me up!

UAE? OK, here's the deal; you need a degree or specific qualifications/specific niche skills/experience. Drop me a PM and I'll tell you what you need to know but you are looking at a few years ahrd work before they will even consider you. I'm not even 'in' yet but I have some contacts there so soon I'll be there!

Np's mate. Yeah the house is going well thank you; bathroom is all tiled and just requires a lick of paint; rear deck will be started in the next few weeks, and then painting the interior of the house begins.

We didn't end up having to dig up my driveway for my cable connection, but it was a major pita tbh - I'm glad it's over.

Dylan broke his arm after being pulled off a set of monkey bars and required surgery to rectify it. His plaster has now been removed as the arm is mending well, but he's not allowed to run, ride his bike or climb anything for the next few weeks. He's not happy!

Apart from these few hurdles everything is peachy now thanks, and it's really great to see you back. :)

Oh of course, I forgot about that 'what tile design thread' - mosaic ftw, mildew ftl.

Dylan, like all kids, will bounce back... Get him swimming mate, good cardio, no impact, the resistance of the water when he swims will help his elbow flexors which will be weaked from being in a cast unused. More importantly he'll burn energy and have fun splashing around.

I'm looking for a new house to rent right now (and working diligently of course!) and it is a nightmare. I go on holiday Wed 16th and upon my return have just over a week to move and get sorted for my new job! Love it.
