i would of gone Res-> Rad-> CPU-> GPU->Res.

That way you'd have no crossing over at all

Well, that's really just the same layout in reverse.... But from a thermal perspective, yours WOULD be more efficient, so I take my hat off to you...plus you have experience on your side. :notworthy:

Oh, and I suspect that it is a second rad.... Based on the tubes heading up there. Just a guess though....

I'm running on the assumption that he couldn't afford both, so he simply picked one. Assumptions being what they are though, I could be well wrong.

You are correct though, that PSU should be the next upgrade...I just hope his gear all survives until then.

note: loop order makes little/no difference to temperatures at all. So long as your res feeds your pump, you're golden. End of story.

Just go for neatness, the rest is gravy.
