XSPC Raystorm 750 RS240 vs Corsair H100i

Currently I'm trying to decide on whether I should get the H100i with 4 SP120s or the Raystorm RS240 custom loop kit and use 2 case fans (for now).

Which one do you guys think would be better,the H100i with 4 SP120s in push/pull or the Raystorm RS240 with 2 case fans (Until I get around to buying some SP120s for it)?

I can get the H100i for $100,4 SP120 Fans would be ~$48, the Raystorm kit (with no fans) is ~$145 (Not including tax,) and I have some case fans lying around.

what kinda system specs do you have?
is this something you are going to expand or you just need a cooling solution better
than air-cooling?
what case?
what case fans will be used on the XSPC that you have laying around?

so far, you are gunna be stuck with something you prolly don't need..

I currently have:
CPU: FX-8350
Mobo: Sabertooth 990FX R.2
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
Still working on the rest......

I'm going to use the included fans from my case,I plan on upgrading in a few years (When I'm in college or so,) I've heard a lot of good things about the XSPC kit but I'm unsure if it's worth the hassle (I need to order it,instead of go to the store and buy....).

trying to shoe-horn a H100/H100i into/onto the HAF912 case is not pretty.
most 912 owners either go custom loop of move to a more adaquate case to have
water-cooling or go exteranl (blahhhh...)

spring for the kit with fans.. its only proper way to do it. case fans will make the
experience terrible and not worth doing...

I would say if your going to go for the h100i buy some seperate fans have them in push pull and link the fans up to a fan controller and not the corsair link software as its awful.if you go for a xspc kit you can upgrade to cool the gpu aswell in the future

You wont get push pull in that case.

IMHO you shouldnt be thinking of putting either in that case.

I count some good water cooling loop for CPU/GPU because for me no sense pump, res, radiator and only CPU under water... cheapest good what I can find but with good parts not kits is about 300$, +3-6 fans, tubes, filters, fittings, adapters, clamps....
CPU Block, 360mm radiator, pump, res, but I look very good parts and off course GPU block HC out of box together with card. That is investment in future in cold system and silence gaming...

Get an H100 (if it will actually fit). You will need to buy coolant and tubing on top of the kit (included XSPC tubing has awful plasticizer issues). Also, you will probably get abysmal performance with those fans.

its a cool case, but limited possibilites without major renovations to the chassis.
i really liked the HAF912 red interior edition.. and im not a liking red person.
