Just looking for some advice. Buying XSPC Raystorm 750 EX420 kit and looking to use monsoon fittings instead of the ugly barbs. I just wanted get some advice on the size of monsoon fittings I should use?
That kit comes with 2 Meters of Clear 7/16 Hose, but I would personally go for 1/2"-3/4" tubes and fittings, I've used monsoons in the past and they are good fittings.Just looking for some advice. Do you even know what are you talking about mate???If you have not bought it allready then I way stay away from any kits. Trust me. Dont go cheap and dont go kits. You WILL want to expand later on. NO kits.

Those kind of kits are fully expandable, for future needs.
Dude, he is asking about changing the fittings all ready, he will most probably then change the tubing as well. After that then he will use it for a while and then most probably would like to try a tube res or add a GPU to the loop.
Also the XSPC X20 750 Dual 5.25" Pump / Reservoir Combo is not the best pump and has been known to fail.
So, why buy a kit when you will change most of the parts anyway?
Buy a proper pump and fittings that you need. Dont go half way.
Well in that case you right, sorry but I thought that you are trying to tell him that for some reason he cannot expand the "KIT"![]()
Also that kind of kits are great for someone that is doing watercooling for the very 1st time and don't have a clue about what parts to buy. In that case they are really handy.
Well Murphy tell us if you want to expand in the future or most likely not, due to budget or some other factor.
If you want to expand we could insist you in what to buy, exactly part by part.
Just tell us your budget for the watercooling loop you want to build.
Np mate, the thing is that I also did the same not too long ago. I bought a ex240 kit as I was *only* going to cool the CPU.... a few months later the only thing I was using from the kit was the ex240 rad.
