I ordered this kit yesterday.

I love the copper heat sink look. I also ordered the extra black metal base plate in case they stop making them before my next upgrade. I plan to run distilled water, and also bought the Blue/UV Blue tubing. From all the reviews, this looks like a good heat sink. I know its a little pricey, but I think it leaves me loads of room to expand later.

Besides the price, do you think this is a good starting point?

I liked the idea of the dual pump more for redundancy than head pressures. I am getting due for an new extreme build, and I wanted to start getting good components now, to make less smaller bits I need to purchase later.

Personally i would not have gotten that kit because the AX series is way to expensive for what it is and dual D5 pumps are super overkill but i can see why you need it if you have a very big loop.

I started with similar kit (AX360 rad but the D5 Photon tube res) and I'm really happy with it. I get really great temps at full load. I also added a AX240 in the loop as I plan to go SLI very soon.

It may be overkill but if you can afford it I would recommend it :)

To be honest, I have a few screwy ideas later when I put in my GPU's into the loop with doing some funky acrylic tubing designs like bending a large helix inside my case. One from top to bottom in a 900D might be a little tough on a single pump.

Yep, Siverstone-Z, that is the review that let me hit the checkout button.

And I like that Photon 170/D5 combo, I think to buy that because it's newer and look nicer than DualBay D5, only in my case no way to fit 360mm radiator I try all combination and I don't want outside. I must go on AX240+AX120mm, 120mm for graphic card.

Is there any particular reason why the Aquaero 6XT can not be bought for love nor money right now?

Looking at Aquacomputer and they are putting up a 30 day turn around time on those. I can get the pro, but I don't want those silver buttons on the front of my case.
