xfx 780i Sli

Hey guys, got me this mobo the other day, cant seem to get the first pci-e port to run, it has alot of physical damage to it, and i think its just seized to work. Sooo,, my question to you guys:

When i run it with the gpu in the second pci port, it says it cannot run due to having the gpu in the 2nd or 3rd slot, and not the 1st5. BUT I CANT RUN IT IN THE 1ST SLOT!!!

Any ideas guys? I cant send the board back, im asking xfx about rma but not getting my hopes up. Can i disable the 1st pci slot and just have the second one running????

Where did you buy this motherboard from?

XFX's customer service is pretty good from what I believe, you should get a replacement although you might have to pay a bit.

fleabay, I bought it knowing the problem, just was told by a few people i could run the motherboard using the second or third slots without the 1st one being used,
