Xbox Durango to get 7790?

Exclsuive can have 2 different meanings.

1) Game ONLY sold on a specific machine whether it's PC/PS4/720(durango/whatever)

2) Exclusive DLC or bonuses. OR can be the first in the port chain so it's maximized to full potential and maybe the above examples.

Sony/M$ can can completely pay off Devs for exclusives but in the long run the Devs make more money by exposing their games to as many people as possible for future consumer investments in their games.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't aware that they could use the term "exclusive" simply for being the first port of release. Though surely that would simply make the release date exclusive rather than the game itself, especially if it's released in an unchanged state on the next in the chain.

M$ did a pretty good job of paying Bungie, though personally I'm rather thankful that they stuck to it and the Halo series was restricted to Xbox.

Microsoft did not pay bungie, they own them  Bungie left(probably cost a huge amount of money too) and now is a AAA developer. Now bungies first game on multi-platform will be "Destiny" and will have certain DLC bonus and free stuff on PS4 over durango. Might even go PC!:)

Yeah you're right, just did some wiki (yeah, I know) reading.

Surely buying the company is still paying them, and out of that acquisition they got the Halo series and exclusivity.

Microsoft acquired Bungie in 2000; its then-current project was repurposed into a launch title for Microsoft's new Xbox console, called Halo: Combat Evolved.

On October 1, 2007, Microsoft and Bungie announced that Bungie was splitting off from its parent and becoming a privately held Limited Liability Company named Bungie LLC. As outlined in a deal between the two, Microsoft would retain a minority stake and continue to partner with Bungie on publishing and marketing both Halo and future projects, with the Halo intellectual property belonging to Microsoft.
On April 29, 2010, Bungie announced that it was entering into a 10-year publishing agreement with publisher Activision Blizzard.[38][39] Under Bungie's agreement with Activision, new intellectual property developed by Bungie will be owned by Bungie, not the publisher, in a deal similar to the EA Partners Program

Durango or whatever they call it this week (last I heard was Infinity because of the Windows 8 logo turned on its side blah) is looking very pale in comparison to the PS4, isn't it? Anyway, I don't think I'll be getting either of the new consoles but if I had to choose one it would largely depend on the exclusives. Everything else I'll play on my PC so the hardware of the new consoles would have very little impact on my choice. To be completely honest I'll probably just get a PS3 for a steal cause it has already got some amazing exclusives which I don't think the PS4 will deliver (not on launch anyway).

If i have a choice on a multi-platform game then PC all the way unless for some reason the console version is better. But i will be gaming on PS4 a little bit as my dad has already pre-ordered one. So for me it's just a matter of whatever i buy:p

Edit: Maybe start a poll for PS4 vs 720? Or a new thread? Just saying OP.
