thanks for the help guys, i just finished performing my first vmod =) i soldered on a 10k trimpot and running 1.6v atm, 660mhz on the core and climbing!
Yes the mod for the subjected thread is but bobmanfoo wants the X850 mod which is different. If you wish to solder tot he board you will need the usual soldering stuff, i.e soldering iron, solder, braid etc etc. And the some wire and a few VRs. Try Radioshack for the majority of it.
EDIT: NM didn't see his post there, congrats mate. See how far it goes and report back. What cooling you using anyway?
