Hey guys finally got round getting a proper cooling for my cpu with dual specters120s and a thick rad rad from coolit

i just was experimenting around with my clocks, who wouldnt lol, and i got my Phenom x2 550BE, unlocked to a quad 3.1 and oc'd to 3.75

Asus Overclocking software rules, its like an gui bios but you can view results live

Ofcourse first thing that i went with was 4ghz xDD which ended up totally bad lol bsod right after post

What i want to know how much should i push this chip? i mean its unlocked already and im running occt linpack atm for 2 hours straight so far max temps of 59

all my spectrum and stuff are on extreme and vcores etc. at 140% (if you use asus soft youll know what i mean)

i get a bsod error in windows at around 3.9 mark, any possible damages from those? i mean i dont want to fry it (just yet :])

also could someone explain to me what the "VIN" voltages are? in occt

after 3 hours of messing with clocks even setting vcore to 1.55 but its still not stable enough my guess its because its alrady on technically 100% oc from dual core to quad, for now im running prime for 3.56ghz for over hour now and it looks stable at pretty much stock clocks

quick question, how are you overclocking your cpu, i.e. are you upping the multiplier or raising the bus speed or both. 3.8Ghz at least should be easy with around 1.5v and a 19x multiplier.
