I am going to be upgrading my rig and need suggestions

My final Build will consist of

ASUS x58 Sabertooth Mobo.

Intel I7 950 cpu, water block Swiftek Apogee?

Corsair AX 1200 watt psu

XFX HD 6850 x2 crossfire, water blocks/Koolance?(may add 3rd card, good idea?)

12 gig Corsair Dominator ddr3 1600, water block EK?

killer 2100 network card

Need help with Mobo water blocks, suggestions, Nothing I see says Sabertooth.

I want to water cool everything

I am thinking of two Radiators with 3 140mm Xigmatek fans on each pushing 63 cfm per fan, adequate? may add 3rd Rad.

Going with a two loop system with quick connects. Bitspower fittings.

1 bays res. with pump, and one standing res. with second pump on cabinet base.

The theme will be Black and UV orange

Dose anyone know I buy the Bitfenix Alchemy cables in the U.S>? Tom showed them in his Youtube Video.

I will be running 3, 32" monitors. not 3d

over my budget

Noise is not an issue. I have a loud system

But I have two dogs and tons of hair which im planning for. Hahaa

I will be overclocking

See my current Youtube video channel for existing parts "raginube"

Thanks RaginNoob

no one makes an all in one block for the tooth tbh and I dont think they make fet blocks for it either tbh.

3 rads is just stupid, so is a 1200w PSU. amn AX750 would be fine on that rig.

Also 6850's dont really get hot so its just seems like a waste of cash to me tbh.

You ideas for the res's ect will look stupid aswell imho, Id honestly say bin the whole idea off and start again

Hmm,where to start.

For running 3 screens, 2x msi r6950 twin frozzr III,is better suited.

And a link for your existing parts or just write them down here.

And why x58 platform, when z68-p67 is better for gaming.

There is manny things going on in this build.

Also need pourpouse, what are you going to do with it?

Edit: Do as Tom said, start all over again.

As for the use. Its mostly for gaming.

3 Rads is stupid. That means overkill I take it. Guessing the same for the psu.

My current rig is The Sabertooth, I7 950 and xfx hd 6850s x2 and a killer 2100 network card. With a Corsair TX 850 watt psu. and 12 gigs dominator.

The reason I was going to a 1200 watt is because it was suggested to me. Though I dont seem to have many 4 pin power connectors left. And wanted to go moduler.

The video cards do get hot. Their peaking in the upper nintys. I have excellant cable management and airflow. I even have a fan an inch or so from the cards to draw heat away. And push it out the side panel.

I would rather not buy a new motherboard or video cards. This sabertooth runs great. As for all the watercooling. I understand the cpu is all thats necessary. But this is becoming a hobby. And I want to go all out with what I have.

I am very much the noob here. I am gathering as much information as I can. Its my first build. Thanks for being honest. Any more suggestions?

Looks like a nice rig to me

No need to upgrade yet.

But you could get a good case, something like cm haf 932,with room for a nice thick 360 rad,and get cpu under water and the northbridge too.

And if you won in chip-lottery,the i7-950 would be stable at 4.4ghz

I understand you did some research, for wc-components.You could use that and spec a wc-loop.

Though i will suggest you use XSPC rx360 rad.

But the easy way is to get XSPC rasa 750 rs360 kit,and make some experience with watercooling.

For good feedback,start a new thread,when you have specced a new wc-loop.

I will look up those which you recommended. As for a case. Though its not the best for some. I really like the look of the Nzxt phantom Black/Ora from New Egg. It really gave me inspiration for the theme. And I know I have a great Mobo. Has not let me down at all. But I was considering upgrading to the Gigabyte oc x58. Im sure it my seem a waste of money to some. But had I known of it before I made my decisions in January. It would have been a done deal.

But then that takes me back to my original problem. The North bridge. I cant find a waterblock that says Sabertooth compliant. And was hoping one of ASUSs other board uses the same layout. Im one of those people that loves the board and hates the colors. Hence full water cooling. And I can O.C. the xfx vga cards. I cranked em up and they did get too hot. Even with the fans turned up. Im a relatively intelligent person though I lack an Diploma surrounding the subject and feel I can get bye without the kits and such. I really want to dive right in.

Back to research.

Thanks again for the help

I did a build with the Phantom and the Sabertooth x58. Take a peek, might be useful for you.

Xsesive

If you have any questions just let me know. always willing to help. The sabertooth is a great board, I see no reason to go with the Gigabyte x58 OC unless you really want to overclock.
