Hi,

Yesterday i installed Crysis 3 and installed the 13.2 Beta 7 drivers so it would play properly, and now i get BSOD game crashed random reboots every 5 minutes its making the pc unusable, i reinstalled 13.1 which was working before never had an issue but the issues are still there.

its driving me up the wall last time i buy AMD.

if the old drivers are not working dont hate on a company for that, give them a week or two im sure its at the top of their lists

as i said in the other thread about this remove the card completely remove everything to do with it which will clear everything of the new beta drivers and re install those that worked, i had to do that with my 560 gtx ti.

i did it didnt help i bSOD so often now i cant even post here on that PC anymore i need to to use my laptop i think im going to have to reinstall windows.

huh. this is a fairly strong reaction to a (probably) bad installed driver. but reinstalling windows usually helps, or at least it helps to rule out the software. i mean it's not that big of a deal to reinstall windows.

i did a system restore to over 10 days before the issue didnt help, its a strong reaction cause its going to cause me a lot of work, and also buying crysis 3 was a waste of money as the 13.1 drivers will not run it very well at all.

If it was just a bad driver uninstalling it would and 99% of the time fixed it, this was so bad it completely destroyed my pc im not going near AMD 13.2 drivers with a barge pole crysis 3 or no crysis 3.

That was the main reason I stuck with Nvidia , it seems like every 3 months or so amd has some sort of driver issues.

Crysis 3 is hard to run on 670 SLI so you stand no chance of getting anywhere near the highest settings on a single GPU, even Titan struggles when you stuff on the MSAA.

A lot of these problems are caused because by human nature we love to fiddle. I've learned my lesson with it now and I only install a driver update if something isn't working properly on the drivers I have.

I had a 7970 from launch day to around June time and it was nothing but headaches no matter what the driver. Something would be fixed only for me to find something else broken. I really should have known better after the nightmares I had with 5770 CFX.

I won't be returning to AMD any time soon, well, not unless Nvidia continue to take the piss with their prices.

buying crysis 3 was a waste of money because it is a garbage game.
what i meant with heavy reaction are the bsods, that is very weird.

i got 2 HD7970's and i get about 40Fps with everything at max in crysis 3 on the 13.2 drivers on the 13.1 drivers i have to run it on medium to even get a playable frame rate, crysis 3 need the newer drivers really but AMD need to fix them first.

Lol have you seen the Nvidia drivers as of late.

This^. After the Crysis 3 aimed patches came out I have been having GPU usage issues with almost every other game i try and play, resulting in terrible frame rates. The worst of which being ArmA2, I get about 30% usage which results in about 20-30fps on low settings.

I hope everything will be OK but if BSOD continue maybe is good to try on windows seven forum. You need Blue Screen Viewer installed and people there will read and maybe diagnose what cause problem. Hardware or Software, driver or system files...
You have explained there...

it appears to be fixed just i would recommend people wait for the 13.2 official drivers as im not the only one on the net whos had to reinstall windows cause of them.
