Worth it to go dual?

I was thinking of either getting 2 corsair vengeance 4gB modules or 1 corsair vengeance 8gB module. I know that dual channel is slightly faster, but is it worth it to sacrifice a potentially upgrade-able slot for that extra speed? How much difference does it make when using the computer for games and other every-day things?

Seeing as there are most likely 4 or more DIMM slots available, just go with the 4GB DIMMs. You really don't need 32GB - at least, I highly doubt it.

Dual "should" be significantly faster than single.

Triple is arguably faster than dual.

Quad is arguably faster than triple.

Bench testing wize, all the above is true. In reality, only the initial is that much noticable.
