Workstation based on nVidia Tesla GPU's

I'll begin with what for I need a workstation. It's for bitcoin mining. Tried using my GTX 570 and it works, it works great but I believe I could achieve much greater results using Tesla as those are immensely better compared to 570's.

So this is what I have in mind: using SB/new AMD based CPU so I could shuffle 4 Tesla's on MB without a need of graphics card.

Now what I need help with is:

MB: what could you advice on this front

CPU: SB/SB-E or new AMD? I was reading that new Intel's i7 are enough for Tesla based workstation therefore there's no need to buy Xeon's

PSU: obviously

OS: what OS I should use, linux, windows server or just some home edition windows?

If i'm not mistaken the only bigger difference between the Tesla cards and the GeForce branded graphics cards is the use of ECC memory and overall larger ram on the Teslas. Besides that the GeForce cards are clocked higher (both GPU and memory). So i doubt there will be any performance advantages really, unless your problem needs shitloads of RAM and/or ECC.

no need to get a tesla gpu

bitcoin mining basicly works the opposite way round to Folding, Nvidia suck and AMD kick-ass

some one i know on another forum set a rig up using a 2500k and 3 5870s and it is way better than his main rig which is a 2600k and 3 580s.

and cuda cores IIRC tesla cards have a shite load of them saw a vid once of a tesla card and its far better for computations than a gpu.

but back to waht another said for bitcoining AMD is king (bout all they can brag about

Like said above, you want to go AMD for mining.

That said, do a lot more research on bitcoin mining before you throw any money into hardware for it. If you're just getting into it now, you won't make any money.
