Danger Den & Koolance water-cooling system, unsure of the exact parts... I'd have to hunt down the boxes.

Haven't overclocked anything yet, I dread to think what the power usage will be if I do that.

I originally had only 1 of the HD5850's but my friend had one and then upgraded to the 5970 and gave me his 5850. Luckiest freebie I've ever gotten.

I think I have a picture of the server machine on another forum somewhere from before I went eco-friendly and switched back to IDE , I'll see if I can dig out where I put it.

I'll try get hold of a friend's camera to get some updated pictures as well.

=D Really need to learn cable management, at the moment I have a flood of cables all over the place inside and outside the cases.

:rollingla yeah that eluded me at one point aswell but i gave it a good bash this time and did as good as i could given the opportinities to route the cables, u got like a pci card in there to handle all those IDE drives?

Yes, 3 connect to the motherboard and the rest are divided by two 4-port cards.

Originally I was using a single 8-port SATA RAID controller with bright orange cables, it looked like hell... I still have nightmares about that.

Planning to eventually switch to a rack of blade servers when I can afford the electricity bill that'll bring.

Best hop of to sleep now I think, gotta get up again in 6 hours for work. =(

lol never thot of just gettin like 3x2tb drives im sure that wouldnt be as power hungry 9x500gb (i think 500gb is the largest ide's u can get and im just presuming thats what u have im more than likely wrong) plus sata is so much faster than ide?

ha ha yeah orange satas are horrible i dont even like red ones i wanna change the ones in my case to black but they would have to all be right angled like the ones i have just now

my system draws 300w on load idles at about 150 and uses 5w in sleep
