Work Area

I just finished building my first rig; Snow Storm, and needed a much bigger desk to fit all of my things on. The total cost was $250 (£156), which I don't think was that bad. The hutch is form my old desk and will soon be gone as I am building some shelves very soon. Also, In the near future, I will drill a few fairly large cable Management holes in the surface, beacuse now everything is a stretch, and I don't want wires stretching around the edges. The monitors also need replaced for 3 24" ASUS monitors. Still a work in progress!
The frame for the desk was built of 2x4's, and is VERY sturdy. There are no parts of the desk touching the ground which makes cleaning easier, and whenever I purchase a Office Chair, I can move around more freely. Once the shelves are built, the DISH receiver, and the Surround Sound Amp will be off of the desk and will free up a lot of room. Also I am a bit like Tom, and I am obsessed with white except for things I can't get in white... :)
Here are some pics:

This weekend I have finished 75% of the shelves. I love the dark stain look with the black arms holding them up. I swear to you that these shelves will hold 300+ pounds on each arm if the walls don't fall down first. They were air nailed and wood glued together with 4-3" screws on each arm assembly. Really fairly cheap to build also. The top shelf is all that needs to be stained now. I think it looks fantastic. It also got all of my home theater equipment off of my desk which cleared up SOOO much space. Also I found a VERY comfortable office chair for about $100 (£62).
If you are wondering what the home theater equipment is:
-Yamaha RX-V365 AV Receiver
-PS3 Slim
-Dish VIP 722K DVR
-Monster 3-Way HDMI switch
-Dell 1907FP
-Dell 1908FP
-Snow Storm
