Hi Guys/Girls,

I really need to invest in some new headphones and really want some wireless ones. They will be used mainly for music, movies and the odd game.

Any help would be appreciated

Your not going to find really anything better than the G930. They are ok for music and REALLY good with movies. the added benifit to them is they only require a little wireless usb dongle. They are also 7.1 surrounds

I can think of a set better sennheisers RS180's Personally I have the 170's cause they're closed back looking back I wish I'd spent the extra £20 on the 180's...wearing the 170's as I type this they are possibly one of the comfiest set of headphones ever made little loose on my head at time though.

Thanks for the replys, will read up on both those, I did have teh same worry as EzyRyder as I had read somewhere that teh RS180's sometimes interfere with wireless, I personally dont use wireless on my machine but I have 4 laptops in the house and several phones that all do!

Will start reading the reviews before deciding which 1s to get but thanks for the idea's

From the reviews I have watched, i am heavily leaning towards the G930's at the sec, as they come with a mic. I do like the charging stand for the RS180's thou but im not sure i wanna pay an extra £50 for that!

Yup, you heard correctly, the RS180 interfere with Wireless signals (2.4 Ghz that is ). got me massively pissed off the first time I used the headphones.

there is also a deadspot, right in the pathway of the router, which for me means I can't use em in the kitchen.

Also there is quite a hefty latency in the transmitter, so for using them as a headphone for musicmaking, leave em and get a simple wired one.

The bass gets a pretty hefty boost, so for mixing purposes just stick to the flatter EQ headphones. The boost does make for a very nice set of listening headphones.

They fit great, I can wear em all day long if I'd need to, due to the open back design they don't feel warm, but do leak some sound. They look great aswell and the base has a feed through function, meaning you can connect your input to the base, and the input for another device to the base output.

and last but not least, they don't give off loads of static when you get a signal loss, they just cut out.

Went with the safe bet of the G930's, very happy with them as well, dead comfortable, sound is awesome for both chunes, movies and games. Charge seems to last well and u can always just plug them in if you are like me and forget to put them on charge. The range seems to cover my whole house as well...

Many thanks for your help guys you done me a good one yet again
