[RiP] PC-Chair

So yeah... I'm serious with this one.
I always wanted an open, test-bench style, rig but I never wanted to pay 70-100 bucks for one prebuild.
At this moment I had my Pc in an Good Ol' Cooler Master HAF 922 but it started to fall apart... sadly...
So I searched in my basement for something I could use and I found the chair.
Unlucky me has lost the pics of the building process but you can see the semi-final results.
I'm still working on it quite heavily and I have planned pretty much for it, like a custom loop, custom painting etc.

Specs:
Ikea Chair (White)
i7 4770k @ 4.5Ghz
Cooled by a Scythe Ashura with 2 Enermax Magma
Z87 Sabertooth
8Gb Crucial Balistix 1600mhz with CL 9-9-9-24
BUT I changed these specs a bit :D
Now it's 2000mhz with CL 10-10-10-32, kinda proud of it
MSI GTX 770 2Gb @ 1.3Ghz Core and Mem at 4Ghz
1x Seagate 1TB 7200rpm
1x Samsung 830 256GB SSD
All powered by a Corsair RM650

First of all my whole desk with my 2 monitors, my G19, my Func MS-3², my Astro A40 Headset and some undefined speakers. :D

Here you can see the chair in it's full glory.

Take a good look at my self-painted fan, my Ram and self sleeved cables.

A better look at the "sleeving" (gotta change that color tho...)

Here you can see my naked 770 whose shroud is currently getting painted ;)

And last but not least the cable mess.

The Thermal Armor will follow the 770 shortly it they both will shine in beautiful white with red accents :D

I'm hoping you enjoy it, I'm open to any critics!

See ya

I actually really like your lacing, looks really good with your build and I think it works perfectly with it! Looks like you need to do it with the 770 power tho too :)

hahaha great idea :D
I think I gonna dodge the red-white theme idea and make a brown-beige-white theme out of it
soooo that means...
Noctua all the way :D

Love the shoe lace look on the power cable, definately kudos for the creativeness of that and it looks really good :D

Little update:
Laced the Gpu power cable, wanted to do the Cpu one aswell but didnt have enough lace to do it...
Here's the progress:

Also got my better Camera working :D

I really like this mate! Love what you did with the cables, you should write a tutorial for the forums if you're up for it! (if you want your cables to stay unique you probably shouldn't and I'm sure we'll all respect that) ;)

Really looking forward to the next batch of pictures :)

Ok so its 4 days now since the last update and nothing got changed...
Reason being I got ill and can't do more than scrolling through OC3D and thinking about my upcoming customloop and painting etc.
Speaking of wich I am going to put a 360 Rad on the backside of the chair (Photoshopped pics incoming) and a tube res on one of the legs.
I am also thinking of cutting it down so the front legs are off completly and the back ones are like 5cm in length but then the rad Had to be MUCH smaller.

Edit:

Thats a veeery rough plan I made
BTW the green is only for showing, it's going to be clear at the end

I read the title and thought you were making a chair to hold your components that you were also going to sit on /facepalm. Looking like a really nice DIY testbench though :)

I just meant that it might be cool if you could replace one or two of the chair legs with tubes that would work as reservoirs for the coolant.

Obviously I have no idea how difficult this would be but ... just thought I'd throw that out there ^_^

Ok story time!
I'm still for 5 weeks in america on Vacation and I had my Pc Chair shipped to me because my GF and me needed both to get work done, since we only have one laptop and I need a powerfull machine for my Work I shipped it. This morning it arrived and various stuff went wrong... My dad who put the package together made a great job to ensure that nothing breaks, he put the graphicscard into a separate box and the Cpu cooler aswell, over the Motherboard and between the othercomponents was loads of antistatik airbags, and the chair itself was surrounded by closed cell foam, IN A WOODEN BOX remember that for later.
In another Parcel was my Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse and some cables, all also stuffed with foam. Both parcels were of course labeled with "Fragile Handle with care"
So this morning I received 2 Carton Packages, No wood? opened the smaller one with my Monitor inside wich? You guessed right cracked... what was strange is that the Package was in perfect condition, But my peripherals werent able to crack the screen since they were taped onto foam and the panel was facing away from them, I have no clue what happend.
Second Box, my feelings were mixed since my dad told me he put it in a wooden crate not carton. I opened it and found the box with my 770 first luckily its in perfect condition, then my cooler and its basicly dead, it looks like someone stood on it or played Football with it... All fins are bowed and one heatpipe cracked.
Finally my Chair, or the rest of it, the right front leg broke, the left one os nearly off and through the main plate is a crack, My Motherboard lives Aswell as my HDD and Psu
under everything was a note wich stated:"We are sorry, the wooden crate fell of the wagon" and then their insurency numbers and a DHL Support number.
I will try to upload some pics but my Internet is pretty bad, but I try.
My plans now are Finding a new case, I certainly dont want to rebuild the chair for now...
