i dont see why you would want the upgrade one anyway

well at least until vista is more mature/supported because the upgrade version makes your xp key void which means your xp is useless:nutkick:

probably,ime not sure if the updates for windows it has 'got' with the proper key will brick your xp once you put a diff one on.

i got told something which leads me to beleive this could happen but ime not 100% sure if it would.

i think it needs a proper key though but you could always give it a try

im sure it needs a proper key, i already bought my upgrade version, h/e im not gonna install it until DX10 comes out, along with Crysis. right now i could install vista, but theres no point other than the cool aero theme, i may be wrong but i really doubt that Vista will ever be better @ playing games with higher fps than XP, i know drivers arnt fully out yet and most are in the beta, but its just Aero theme thats eating up most resources.

as far as performance goes my mate with vista ultimate 64bit has noticed good improvment in most games performance,ime hoping the same will be true for the 32bit.
