Windows Vista OEM CD

Thanks for that bud, I couldn't be bothered to google it LOL!

It is one of the worst things to do, MS is a huge company.. will win a lawsuite every time if they catch you, I wouldn't offer to lend it out either as they will soon enough catch on.. and will take out my activation I reckon..

Apart from the fact it is DEAD against the law.

Tbh, these days, I don`t think m$ would care if u had 100s of *copies* of windows laying around the place - as it`s seen more as a method-of-delivery, just like downloading it from m$.

Now if the dvds happened to have *crack* *fix* *validation* or whatever on them, then they`d be upset.

I`d actually endourse using backup DVDs of m$ software to physically do the installs due to the shoddy plastic (that u pay the earth for) that even the retail DVDs come on. My 64bit Vista is cracked - I mean physically at the spindle side of the disc.

Yeah copying for your own personal use I can relate to, as I do the same when I Vlite an install disk. But copying for someone else...

as long as you have the correct licence key there is no problem copying someone elses disk

microsoft dont make money on the disk but they do on the licences
