i would like to know how to turn of windows sound like the welcome sound and error sounds reps for help

Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Sounds Tab>Program Events

Change the sounds in there mate

Shouldn't do if you just select what you want turned off mate.

For instance I've changed my windows exit sound to a personally editedwav file.

Xfire and suchlike have their own sound options
