My recent upgrade to an 8150 bulldozer left me waiting for the patches to be released, only to find out they were for windows 7 only. I am running it on Vista Ultimate and considering upgrading to windows 8 when released, i have found a beta release for developers and i am wondering if that would be worth installing for now until the full version comes out?
 
I suppose that is one solution yes, then just patch it and leave it at that. I was thinking about spending the money on the latest 8 and getting a free fix to use in the meantime.
 
i dont think windows 8 is out for sometime is it?

plus you might get a lil boost goin from vista to 7 mate

SCAN is your best bet to get it from plus you skip shippin as you cn get there from were you are

My thinking was, the laptops are dead and their owners now have new ones. So the serials are no longer being used. I might just go for win7 from scan and leave it a few years before buying win 8, its just for my simulator rig that isn't used for anything else other than simming.
 
On the Windows 8 release date, I read somewhere (god knows where... but it was definitely a reliable source!) that it was due Q3 2012.
