Windows 8 & Motherboard Drivers/Updates

The Solution

Took it in and talked to one of the techs and he told me with windows 8, it DOESNT NEED ANY DRIVERS INSTALLED, all of the drivers are already there. Any drivers that are required for windows 8 or the board "ie chipset" will be installed by windows 8 updates if windows 8 doesn't have them already. Why they wouldn't just tell me that in the first place is beyond me....could have something to do with the $50.00 charge for them to simply install my windows 8 again lol. So I guess long story short with windows 8, when you try to install drivers, windows 8 has those drivers installed already and your just trying to install drivers over drivers which wrecks the system.
