Windows 8 Classic Start Menu

I have been searching for this type of thing ever since I heard that Windows 8 would not have a Start Button and it looks like it has been achieved.

If anyone is running Windows 8 and fancy trying it, could you do so and report back on how it is and if it works for you.

This may mean I will upgrade to Windows 8 if this works.

Why even bother with W8? I think the majority of people will stick with windows 7.

I think when it's out I'll download the ISO and do the 30 day trial thing. I'm sure people will have come out with a good fix by then - and if not I'll just go back to 7.

theres the 90 day enterprise trial thats out atm but whats stopping me is that you wont be able to upgrade it to windows 8 pro :L from what ive heard though Microsoft went arround and ripped out the legacy code that allows the start button to work but have only done this for the final release candidate so while it works in the beta versions i dont think that it works in the final version. Though i have no doubt that someone will find a way but itll probably take a few weeks.

i dont know why you wouldnt want to buy windows 8 for £40 even if you dont install it as its probably going to go up after Christmas.
