Do you know how to fix a M.2 850 EVO SSD? I can install Windows but if I try to install Windows 8.1 or 10 in UEFI I can install it until I get to the 10 second countdown restart screen, after that nothing happens, my screen just says the name of the motherboard and the HDD LED is flashing fast. I left it for 2 hours the other day and it didn't load Windows in order to complete the installation. I don't know what's going on. My motherboard is ASRock 990FX Fatality Killer I have BIOS Firmware 1.40 which is the latest and my CPU is AMD FX-8350. It used to be ok but now it plays up. I just can't workout why it's doing it.

Did you install it through a usb? If so remove the usb

I've tried it with USB and DVD, I have the same problem with both and I remove the DVD or USB when it starts the 10 second countdown before it restarts. The M.2 used to work with UEFI but suddenly it stopped.
