Windows 10 Hardware?

Hey guys,

So I've been considering upgrading my laptop for a while in an attempt to breathe some more life into it. Several years old, running Windows 10 and quite clunky

4GB RAM, a 1TB HDD (~100GB filled) and an i5-2430M (Yes it's that old!)

Any ideas of what I could do to give it a new lease of life would be great. I'd rather not shell out on a new laptop, but I'm willing to get bits and bobs if necessary

Thanks in advance

Ram and SSD, or SSHD (Seagate Firecuda). Though be warned, memory and SSD prices are off the charts atm so I would possibly track down more ram second hand and find a second hand SSD. How many hard drives can you fit?

If only one I would get a Firecuda and some ram.

What he said. An SSD is an absolute no brainer upgrade and makes all the day to day interactions with your computer feel way faster. And 8gb is the minimum quantity of ram needed for Windows 10 to stop constant accessing of the page file.
