Look if you are moaning about this comp it means you arnt interested in anything else going on in the forum and are just here to try and win something...which in my eye you have no reason to be here...there is plenty of thing going on here that should avert your eyes elsewhere. Go check out some other posts and simply wait...and as for calling us nerds..rofl yes yes we are..and proud of it :D
 
On topic of "What would i do?":
Just built myself a new rig, so i guess i would use the prize to build another one for my dad. Would be nice to play some games together...
 
On topic again "What would I do if I won ".
First prize : probably build a Corsair 900D , black and green of course. And then think about doing my first custom water cooling loop.
Second prize : A Corsair 540 build , black and green again , H220 cool for now .
Third prize : get a MSI GD65 gaming board and make a black and red build in a 540.

Yeah , I like Corsair cases....LOL

I hope some winners get announced soon.

First i'd upgrade my system and use my spares to make my brother a gaming rig second I would keep until i get some work my way and then upgrade and same for 3rd
 
If it was me I'd put them to use pure and simple. :o Anyway, the only reason I'm still subbed to this thread is so I can congratulate the winners properly when/if they make themselves known.
 
Some people keep quoting the following line from the rules of this contest:
"• Winners will be notified of success by a forum PM no later than 7 working days after the draw", and somehow use this as an indication that the drawing should've already taken place.
Nobody bothers mentioning, however, that there is not a single indication of when the drawing will actually take place.
It could be weeks. Or months even.
It's a good way to filter out the people that only came here when they heard about a contest.
The drawing will happen when and if. No sooner, maybe later.
 
Some people also seem to neglect the amount of counting that has to be done for comps like this... seriously be patient... you're only making yourselves look bad, anyone who gets banned will be disqualified and won't be welcome in future prize draws... simple as.
 
Didn't Tom say ages ago that he'd drawn the winners?

TBH after all the bitching, whining and general palaver in this thread I wouldn't blame him if he tried to just hush it up and asked the winners to not disclose anything. Must have the patience of a saint or direct IV coffee beans to deal with this stuff willingly :lol:

Looks like the same ole stuff going on here. I have had problems and not been able to get on here in some days. I forget how long, seems like weeks, but it has just been days, 4 days I think. One day I logged on and was going to write something, but too much shit going on at home and with my health to care much about anything so I just walked away from the computer. Probably got timed out on here.

Maybe next time I'll post from a rubber room somewhere. I could build a system for therapy if they will let me use sharp tools. :)

OOPS, forgot to shut this down. Ex is on vacation and sending pics, so I wandered off to my phone. ADHD is in high gear.

Quick update folks.

Tom hasn't been online all weekend since Friday midday(ish) up until now. I've just heard he'll fallen quite ill with a pretty nasty strain of the Man Flu after visiting London, sounds like he's all glandular and swollen and all sorts.

He's hopefully on the mend but he won't be online until he's better (for obvious reasons). So please be patient, you will be updated as soon as possible.

For reference (before anyone asks), Yes I did ask him if I was in his will, and just so there's record of it, he said I can have everything.
