@crazymilk: yeah, way to go :beerchug:I'm bored now and tbh all the waiting just to increase visitor numbers for advertising purposes is also rather tedious.
I have some RL to be getting on with. If I actually done some work in the time I have wasted in this comp I could have afforded the prizes anyway.

actually, it doesn't matter whether compo or giveaway. Tom made an offer under specific terms, and we have accepted the deal, terms included.
We did our part, Tom did not (so far)

As for what I'd do if I won, I'm in the process of saving up for a build, was going to go AMD on a hunch for the next-gen games so obviously that would change. Would most likely still stick with the BitFenix Shinobi I bought because I love the look of it, but any of the prizes would free up hugely useful funds to splurge (love that word) elsewhere, like the watercooling set-up I've been craving ever since I started watching hardware videos on YT, which means I get to go Texas Chainsaw on the case :evil:

I don't even know who started all this drama but people signing up just to win freebies is pathetic. Then they have the audacity to complain cause the winners haven't been announced yet. What kind of cheap person gets upset about a freakin' giveaway..
The whole goal of giveaways is generally to get people to sign up the minority of whom go on too contribute to the forum, its about generating traffic and therefore revenue for the owner. I however agree with the moaning part but everyone is different for example if this was a review of said parts do you think it would have generated the response it has(and therefore has acieved it's goal), too slag off people signing up for a reason is quite frankly a bit harsh since we all had reasons to sign up whether for advise to post our findings or even for a freebie. People standing on the high moral ground are equally as bad as the complainers in my opinion but that's what it is an opinion and with that I wish you a good night.

Anyway, I'm not 100% what I'd do with any prize(s) as I have a decent rig but graphics could be better like, so maybe if I did win 3rd prize I suppose I could sell my graphics card and CPU then invest in a 770 or 780. If I won a board also, then maybe go with a green and black build with a 770.

Never have I seen such entitled sniveling. So you registered and posted in a thread on a forum that was free to register to begin with. Not exactly back breaking labor. Nobody owes you anything regardless of what you've been brought up to believe.
I for one am thankful for the opportunity to win such great prizes.

In the case of what I'd do with the prizes: 1st I'd finally get rid of my ugly blue MSI board in my all green acrylic case setup:
(Couldn't afford the Sniper G3 at the time :/) 2nd I'd upgrade my dismal HTPC computer (only has a Core Duo (singlecore) 1.8Ghz, can't stream anything from online, can only play movies off my hdd/network). 3rd would give me an excuse to use on my wife to get a newer motherboard since the said MSI board has been replaced 3 times (as well as cpu twice gpu twice) to have the sound problem not go away.....hopefully. But still best of luck to all, and yes there should still be no reason to complain for something that cost you nothing more than a few minutes time of filling out an online form.

I don't like those acrylic cases, they are so messy to deal with and they look so messy, hard to hide any cables
COMPLETELY AGREE, New one's going to be a Painted back-panel hybrid of my own design, and even that pics a little outdated, rerouted and sleeved a lot of those cables downwards and out of the way
