Will XMP still work?

I currently have 8GB Dominator Plat 1866Mhz (CMD8GX3M2A1866C9) and have XMP enabled the in BIOS.

Im thinking of getting another 8GB but this time Vengeance Pro ones, CMY8GX3M2A1866C9.

Ive checked the timings, voltages, etc. and they're both exactly the same. So my question, will enabling XMP in the BIOS still work and will apply it on both kits?


Also, is there anybody out there with DomPlats and Silver Vengeance Pros together in their system? I'd like to see how they'd look in real life.

Youre not going to find someone with that specific a request matey - it should work but if not - do it manually like a man

I always thought XMP profiles were chip specific, pre-programed when they are made, I doubt very much that Plats and Vengeance would read as the same. (The ROM addresses wouldn't match)
