hi i recently bought an extra 4gb ram for my system but didn't really think if it would be compatible, at the minute im using a 880gm-ud2h with 4gb xms3 1600mhz ram i do a fair amount of hd video editing and stuff and would like to install another 4gb ram would this be ok on this mobo? i have a coolermaster psu 500w. Also a 5870 1gb

Should do, that motherboard supports up to 16gb of RAM so as long as the extra 4gb you have is dual channel, is the same voltage, frequency and has the same timings as the other RAM you have you shouldn't have any problems. Best to get a extra 4gb of the same RAM you already have though.

you will have to enable ganged mode in bios also,to run in dual memory mode
