Will there be an Intel Core i7-5775C (Broadwell) review?

I doubt it, Tom is usually on the ball when it comes to new processors, but broadwell makes zero sense from a consumers stand point, haswell is still doing fine and skylake isnt to far away. I will never know why intel thought releasing broadwell was a good idea.

They can still make money? Only reason it was so delayed was because of the yield issues they had a for a while which kept pushing back the release date. Skylake is still on track though and it makes zero sense from a business standpoint to not release broadwell after all the R&D spent on it. For mobile it's more important due to increased efficiency.. desktop use won't matter much

More money than sense was in reference to those who just want to have the new one regardless of whether or not it is worth it.

I, too, can see why they released it after having spent so much R&D on it. Having said that, surely they scrapped many models and only release these few to pave the way to Skylake (that name always reminds me of Skynet lol). Broadwell can be great for notebooks and mainstream/multimedia users currently in need of an upgrade.

As for the review, yeah if Tom hasn't put one out by now he probably won't, you're right, pity but understandble; it's not an enthusiast chip after all :)
