don't get 2 670's get 1x 4Gb 670 also a 650w for 2 gpu's may cut it very fine
also get 1x 120gb as ssd's in raid can cause issues due to loss of some features

work yes.

be good at both probably not.

Some strong advise above.

Please realise that just spouting dream pc spec lists in this forum when you cant actually buy them wont get you anywhere but shown the door,

@VengenceUK thanks ill go with the 4gb 670 instead

@tinytomlogan it's not my dream pc its my 21st birthday present of my family i was just wanting other people's opinion to see if there's anything i could change to help on cost and performance

Must be one kind family. The price of that is huge.

Also i would possibly just go with 1 670 2GB, not sure where you would use 4GB and it's a lot cheaper to get a 2GB. If you wanted something more maybe buy a 680.

Also wondering about in OP you said about 2 different monitors. why buy 2 different types, when you could get 2 of the same thing and extend the desktop and have it look a bit better?
so either buy 2*23" or 2*27"

if you're driving 2 monitors off 1 card more vram is always appreciated hence why i suggested 4gb model

but i would also agree with getting 2 even sized matched monitors as well
