will a cx600m support a 280x

quick question, I've loaned my friend my rm750 while his psu is RMA'd (he runs SLI so he'd need it more than me). However, I since forgot that and ordered me a ASUS 280x DCUII (buzzing!). Is it safe to run it off my 600m for the time being? I thought it would be but I don't want to risk it.

280x pulls 257 watts (mining) = 21.5 amps your PSU has 46 on the 12v rail, even with the rest of your rig going nuts i doubt you're gonna be maxing the rails.

haha he didn't get my custom cables though . I would've but I somehow doubt OC'd 670s in sli and a 3770k would've been too happy about it.
