WIFI Motherboard

Hello!
Im building a computer and I havent really decided yet which motherboard i shall buy. I realized I need to be able to connect through wifi, so the best thing would be if I could have a motherboard with wifi included. But it also has to be a good gaming motherboard since I'll be using a gtx 770, 16gb 1600mhz ram and an i5 4670k

Don't bother with wifi on a desktop.
Just get powerline adapters instead.

Using a wifi connection in gaming is pretty terrible really, and powerline adapters are exactly expensive these days.

Or indeed run an ethernet cable if you can.

Jamesriley we knew what ya meant ;-).

The ONLY reason I could think to justify Wi-Fi for any style of rig would be if you were a LAN gamer, it was a smaller form factor, and the places you carted the rig around to didn't exactly have the most convenient cabled solution. One of my friends uses a mITX rig based on the CoolerMaster Elite 130 with the Gigabyte Z77 mITX board, but only uses the Wi-Fi when he is at my place gaming or our other friend's place.

Hmm...
If you're serious enough about gaming to go to LANs, you'd surely be serious enough to want a more stable connection than wifi?

As for the Gigabyte ITX board - it's Z77 without the ability to change voltages. Completely pointless board IMO - may as well just get an H77 Asrock board for £30 cheaper.

Eh, he has yet to experience anything wonky with his. Then again most of the time he's hard lined in at home anyway so it's rarely used. Yeah the decision to go with that board was honestly my bad since I put everything together for him but there was a pretty good deal on it at the time so it was a wash, really. Knew it couldn't overclock going into it and knew that he didn't really care to overclock or futz around with anything, so for him it works and it works well.
