Who's Folding?

I like Linux: 11.04 I know my 6-core is way better than my other machine, but I also think Linux folds little faster as well. Connecting to F@H was certainly easier.

Thats also my experience,a little more troublesome setup,but folding faster and the exhaust feels way cooler.And i like the new ubuntu release 11.04 with unity a lot more ,than previous releases

It sure does, I find it anything up to 25% faster, which is a nice boost.

I also wanted to add that I have a 8800GT folding as well. Going to install the GPU tracker on that machine later and have the cpu fold as well. I think it's a X2 4400+.

Just started stealth folding for OC3D yesterday.

Since i have outranked a few people allready I thought I'd better come out of the bushes...

The Ubuntu 11.04 is organized a lot differently than previous. Having some difficulty navigating, but seems to fold more smoothly. It's fun to see who's folding on what: boy oh boy there's some real horsepower out there.

Updated my Folders in my sig, replaced a 3GHz Brisbane Athlon 64 X2 with a 3.4GHz i5, which is already pulling in seven times the PPD. I thought about my power bill... then I thought about the ailments my grandmother suffers and figured I could deal with the extra power draw around here to process some proteins in the name of science and medicine.

The 8400GS is doing 600PPD... poor thing.
