Who wants to see some LGA2011 boards?

...it was also stated on a few of the sites that the 22nm chips when they come out will fit straight into LGA1155 and LGA2011 boards.

I'm working on the assumption that there will be the same two-tier system as with the original Core series (1156/1366) when the 22nm Ivy Bridge chips come along (1155/2011).

If Intel are really ramping up their manufacturing to release closer to Bulldozer, it says good things for AMD. A figure I've heard going around says BD is about 1.5x as powerful as Sandy Bridge.

They weren't stingy on the SATA ports were they. A little confused as to why they've got RAM slots on both sides of the motherboard now and I wonder what those other sockets are below the 24 pin on the Asus board, it's on the GB board next to the right hand RAM slots as well. On another note that Asus board is vomworthy.

The asus maximus extreme is what i was talking about yes.. I just left out the extreme part. As in the 1155 version and the older 1366 the name is always "Asus *maximus* extreme III (or IV)" They come out with a new version every socket. So this one should be 5, Since the last was IV, im pretty sure im in the right place bro.

Unless somebody knows something i dont >.>, i just figured since thats why always happens -.-, That gold board is old school yes. But very ugly second.

Ummmmm XD No you kinda got that a little wrong, go look at the Maximus III it was 1156, so that means that the Maximus is the mainstream chipset not the Enthusiasts Chipset aka LGA 2011. The Enthusiasts intel ROG series boards are always the Rampage series not the Maximus series.

*I meant to say Rampage on my first comment XD
