Who owns a touch screen monitor

I was wondering if any one out there owns a touch screen monitor?
If so is it possible to use the monitor to play games that heavily rely on a mouse
Such as
Dawn of war
command and conquer
Torchlight.

Its due to the fact I struggle to use a mouse with my right hand due to a past injury any slight movement cause sever pain to the point I use a xbox controller or my nexus 7 as a mouse now.
Iv learned to use my left hand as much as possible but not perfect
I have tried xpadder, pinnacle both are hit and miss, I have asked razer about using the nostro d pad as a courser movement but after 3 months of no reply I'm assuming no.

So touch screen monitor seems to be my last hope just to play some single player action on the games I love.

So if any one has a touch screen monitor is it possible for you guys to test games on it??
I know this is a lot to ask but it would really help

I havent used them for gaming but I use them a lot at work.
I wouldnt want to game on them. The ones we used to have at work were resistive touch. Drag and drop does my head in, as does 'draw a box selection'. If you were to game with it you would be dead before you had moved your units.

Maybe the capacitive touch monitors are better for gaming....

no one does because they crap for enthusiasts or if you use windows 8

I wouldn't say "no one does" doing as much research as I can I have found vids of people playing starcraft on touch screen and even using graphic tablets.
obv this is on a older os and very old style touch monitors,

Im trying to cover as many aspect of input as possible for me to play some games

Surely your arm would ache like mad? Ideally you would want some sort of capacitive drawing tablet.

used a lot of touchscreens in work, not fun, wouldnt like to try and use them for anything other than single point clicks, scrolling is dreadful, plus you'll get tired really quick.

did you look at the logitech t650 wireless touchpad? PC world sell them, not advocating it but you could perhaps buy one and try it see how it fits you. then return it if not upto your demands? just pretend that you were a doofus and didnt realise you needed windows 7 or up to use it?

though if you are set on a monitor, definitely look for a good table vesa mount

i used to have a 24" nec touchscreen at my old work and it was terrible my wifes kindle fire is more responsive... tbh pc touchscreens are not meant for heavy gaming more for productivity and there gimicky just like windows phone i mean windows 8....
