Which would you choose and why?

Hey guys,
Been working on my overclock lately, and have come between 2 basic choices for stability. I mainly play games like Crysis 3 and Guild Wars 2. Would you take 4.4 ghz with 2400 mhz ram or 4.5 ghz with 1866 ram? Thanks.

doubt you'll see any major differences between the 2 so I'd say 4.4 @2400Mhz for most likely lower vcore and cooler temps. Not knowing what vcore you needed for either.

Thanks for the reply.
I was able to get 4.5 stable @ 1.25 volts, ram running 2400 mhz. Noticed adaptive vcore was really hosing me (i knew it was kinda bad, but it got REALLY bad.) it was shooting v core all over the place, throttling the cpu. turned it on override, seeing where i can go now.

For a single GPU running the CPU @4.4 is plenty

So yes CPU @4.4 and ram @2400mhz

If you are into tweaking you can also have a look at reducing your memory timings but you may have to do a bit of research first.

For gaming, memory speed does not make a lot of difference. If you want to run benchmarks like 3dmark11 then faster ram will make a difference.

I would expect a bigger performance boost from 2400mhz ram over a 100mhz increase in CPU clock speed anyway. At around 4.3-4.4ghz games start to lose increase in FPS because it has no extra use for the speed.
