Which upgrade path? Wait for Haswell?

So last week I bought an MSI Z77A GD55 board with the plan to buy a 3570k in a month or so but the board was faulty and I now have a hard choice to make

Choice 1 : Get a refund and then buy an i3 2120 until haswell is released and then upgrade to a haswell i5.

Choice 2 : Get a replacement board and then get the 3570k next month

Can't see IB going out of date just because of haswell. There's still plenty of power for most people in SB/IB. Waiting for HW on an i3 for 6-9 months+ sounds pretty awful though

Yeah I guess I will go down the ivy route then Gonna have to wait a while to get a replacement mobo though
