Which SSD to get?

Hello

I'm back ...... with another question. Hope you don't mind.

It is time for me to buy an SSD, as some of you suggested in the New build forum where I posted my first thread.

I have been using my new pc for a couple of days. I'm still using my old 500GB HDD. As some of you suggested, I should get an SSD. I have decided to get an SSD but which one?

I bought the Asus Z97 pro gamer motherboard
GTX 970
Corsair Vengeance Pro serie 1688 DDR3
i5 4690 (no K-version)

* Which SSD would be ideal with this setup? I don't care at all how it looks. It must be fast, reliable, no degradation (or however it is called) and 500GB

* Should I get a SATA express or a M.2 SSD?

I heve no idea if I use the correct technical terms but you get the idea, I hope.

get intel ssd NVMe 400gb if you can afford it for pure performance

otherwise something like samsung 850 evo/pro series will serve you just fine, doesnt break the bank, good software and one of best performing customer grade ssd

I would say the 850 EVO is a great choice. I've had mine for a month now and it's been perfect (touch wood). I know a month isn't a long time, but it's Samsung we're talking about here.
