No reason why not. I have a Kingston 120 for OS and a Corsair Neutron 240 for games. about 70% of my steam account is on my 3.5" though as 240 just isn't enough with the bloated games these days.
If you have them on display then yes I can see why you'd want matching but aside from that there's no point paying extra if you don't need to.
I would still like to get the Savage drive for my OS and and the cheaper 480GB/500GB for the games, The good thing about the FD cases is the SSD mounts are in the back of the case so you don't even see them.
The only reason why i'm having second thoughts is budget, Also i'm buying a DXRacer chair & making a new desk from Ikea so i need to cut cost somewhere cause i'm not changing my mind on the desk cause i want solid wood not chipboard or MDF.
Maybe you should do what i did instead of getting multiple drives just buy 1 large capacity drive of really good quality and be done with it, I've had multiple drives myself in the past had em separate and in raid and you know what it's been easier with just one!
Yeah i understand it's easier just with one drive but i will look at is what is easier when it comes to when you have to reinstall windows, for me it's too much of a pain transferring everything over to a different drive, The other problem is for me is i don't really have that kind of money to buy a 960GB/1TB SSD.
