Hello my dear Friends. So, i`m thinking about getting a new Case cause the one i have ain`t that great and i want a new one.
I researched a little and found three cases that would probably fit my needs. But i`m not sure which one i should get. you can find my system-specs in my signature, i will only add another hdd.
So the three ones i picked are:
Fractal Define R3
Antec SOLO II
Corsair Obsidian 550D

The Fractal Define R3 was my original pick but the hdd-cages aren`t removable and that would limit the air flow.
The Corsair Obsidian has removable hdd-cages and great cable-management but it is pretty big and i don`t know how great the material-quality is.
The Antec SOLO II has awesome material-quality and isn`t that big but i have no idea how well sound-dampened it is and if the case will fit my other hardware.

So i`m looking for a little input here.

In my personal opinion, as an owner of a R3, it really doesn't make much of a difference. I can take the side panels + open the door of my R3 and it sounds almost exactly the same.
Also, when it comes to Corsair's build quality, all of their products seem to be built ti impeccable standards, so you really have no worry there.
I'd just get a case that looks great and has good features that benefit you; whether that be built in fan controllers, radiator space for future expansion etc.

So i just watched Tom`s review on the Corsair 550D and now i`m pretty sure i`ll take that one. The only thing i don`t like about it are the plastic panels on the top and the side but i think i can live with that. I will probably change the stock fans of it with Corsair SP120 Quiet Fans, cause i heard they are quieter than the stock ones. I´m gonna get myself some 5,25" to 3,5" adapters and get rid of the hole Harddrivecage. That way i get my HDDs even quieter and get better airflow. So thats the plan for now.
